I think in terms of people wanting to become a manga-ka in the West it's best to have an online comic, and get as big a following as possible (MegaTokyo got picked up that way) otherwise there aren't any Western publishers that actually do "manga" styled comics, they'd just go and hire an artist from the East (see Marvels "Ai" comic). The only other option is to self-publish, which is what the 99% of Europe "manga" is that you can buy.
All in all. Western Manga-ka isn't a profession over here
Anyway, thanks for your advices! Are you japanese? Your accent is really different :3
Well... I'll keep training as hard as I can :3
See you soon ^_^

It's so sad. I want to live in Japan.
I might make a manga of my own some day as a side-project though, so it's not something I have to put all of my time and energy into. I'm sure it's a bit less stressful to make a manga in the US and Europe than it is in Japan.
Continue being awesome! You're a great inspiration! (:
So the publishing company is the one paying you right? or you earn from the the number of copies you sold? where do u usually get the money?
Well, I like your 'talking' xD
You were also very honest and the things you said were very informative.
Here in Europe, it's not impossible to become a comic artist or a mangaka, (albeit becoming a comic artist should be easier than a mangaka, I think, since people here don't know manga so well, but... as I was saying, it's not impossible, but it's almost.
Draw a comic book/manga and live of it, it's very very very hard. The importance of this kind of entertainment here is reduced compared to Japan. I don't know Japan (unfortunately) but it may be a lot easier to become one there (not being one, because as you said, of all the pressure, work and hardship).
Well, I really like your video, you should continue!
